New NACAC Board Members

We are excited to announce that two PCACAC members have been elected to the NACAC Board of Directors. Congratulations to Sanjay Mitchell and Robyn Lady as new board directors! They will both serve for three years. We are proud to have you both in such important leadership roles. NACAC's announcement on the new board members can be found here.

VACRAO & StriveScan College Fair

VACRAO and StriveScan are hosting a Virtual College Exploration Program from September 14th-November 5th. This program is open to ALL members of PCACAC. You can find more detailed information here

The eight-week program consists of hundreds of opportunities for students to learn about the college search process and about many different colleges through panel presentations and weekly Virtual College Fairs. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

  

 

 


 20th Annual ¡ALCANZA! College Fair

George Mason University invites students and counselors to join them for the 20th annual ¡ALCANZA! College Fair, virtually! Each year ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Mason hosts ¡ALCANZA! to promote higher education opportunities to more than 2,000 Latinx high school students in our community. This year, since they will be virtual, they are excited to welcome Latinx students from across the country to the ¡ALCANZA! College Fair to hear from hundreds of colleges and admissions professionals. ¡ALCANZA! live virtual event is on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 3:00-5:30 PM.

 Membership Renewal

The new membership cycle starts on October 1, 2020 and runs through September 30, 2021. Here are a few things you'll want to know about renewing:

Even if there are already members from your organization, all new members must complete the membership form at www.pcacac.org/membership-form. Multiple new members may join under one invoice. Enter the email address of the first new member under the New User section.

SIGs - Special Interest Groups

A SIG is a Special Interest Group that brings colleagues together to explore a topic or population in higher education/    K-12 through discussion, networking and resource sharing. PCACAC has served as a leading affiliate in many ways including launching our very own SIGs at our 2018 Conference. We have grown from 3 to 5 SIGs in just one year, to include: African-American, LatinX, Independent Education Counselors/Consultants, Rural, and First-Generation College Students.
