Mission Statement

The Membership Committee is responsible for the promotion, recruitment and retention of membership in PCACAC.

Membership Year
We value our members and want each of you to get the most out of your membership by joining or renewing at the start of the membership cycle. Our annual membership fees (in the image below) cover a period of October 1 – September 30.  Institutional Memberships are available, starting at 4 to 6 professionals at the same institution. Membership is not prorated. Payment by credit card or check is accepted.

Who We Are
The Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC) is a non-profit, professional organization for those who work with students in the transition between high school and college. Founded in 1964, PCACAC exists to maintain high professional standards at both the secondary and college levels and to connect college admission officers, secondary school counselors, independent counselors, financial aid officers and educational organizations to discuss common professional concerns and to explore ways to empower students.

Maintaining your membership gives you access to professional development material archives, professional development material archives, the Membership Directory, and exclusive lists of spring and fall college fairs in our region - all accessible once you've logged in.

Benefits of Membership
We aim to keep you connected with others in the field of admissions.  LEARN MORE about the benefits of joining PCACAC!

Your Profile and Renewing
Ready to renew your membership? Want to change your password?  Have a new title? Moved to a new institution? Visit www.pcacac.org/my-profile or click on the 'My Profile' Quick Link to the right.

A note about renewing:  If you are part of an organization with multiple members, there is likely a designated Key Contact who gets the bill.  If you don't know who that is and didn't receive a renewal invoice, please email us at [email protected]

To ensure you and your organization receive an accurate invoice for membership renewal in September, log into the PCACAC website to check your Profile by the end of August.
